The tier of mats you get from salvage depends on the level of gear. 49 is the rec as the T3/4 mats are often worth more than the T5/6 mats (mainly as most people are salvaging level 80 gear which drops T5/6 mats). 3.results:22 iron ore,36 mithril,2 gold,4 truesilver and some citrine,jade etc ... When I was farming Iron ore, I was in western/eastern plagelands, and satisfyingly I also found loads of mithirl ore in eastern.
